About The Glades
The Glades bring together guitarist Addison Rifkind, drummer and percussionist Michael Duffy, and Hammond organist Adam Scone. With roots in California and New York but now based in South Florida, the trio draws from deep soul-jazz tradition while pushing the sound forward with modern feel, groove, and restraint.
Reverential without nostalgia, tropical without cliché, and groovy without forcing the pocket, The Glades refresh a sound that lives inside classic jazz records, late-night funk sessions, and the samples behind hip-hop favorites. Their debut album, released December 12th 2025 on Tiki Tumbao Records, captures the band’s live chemistry, swinging when it needs to, sitting deep in the groove when it counts, and always focused on feel and conversation.
